Valeria: Card Kingdoms حزمة توسعة #01: King's Guard

Wasn't sure I needed another expansion, but the event deck won me over fast. Getting to choose which good events to chase while the bad ones just hit you anyway keeps every round feeling risky. It slots into the base game without bloating setup, which I appreciate.

The event deck adds so much tension to our two-player games, especially the unavoidable bad events that force you to rethink your whole turn. We've played the base game a dozen times and this finally makes the monster rows feel dangerous again.

I was worried the event cards would feel tacked on, but they slot right into the base game and the bad events you can't dodge keep everyone on edge. The good ones are worth chasing too, so there's this constant push-pull every round. Easily the expansion I reach for most.
